It's been revealed drugs are being smuggled into Jersey's Prison, by hiding them in the bodies of dead birds.

It's thought drugs like valium and cannabis have been concealed in the birds, then thrown over the perimeter fence to potentially be sold onto inmates.

The revelation came to light during a recent court case. The Home Affairs Assistant Minister says the cases are a "great cause for concern".
