A boy aged 13 has been charged with cultivating cannabis at a home in Northampton following a police raid.
The Chronicle & Echo reported yesterday that the latest Operation Guardian raids in Pilston Close, Rectory Farm, Northampton, on Tuesday saw two people arrested and hundreds of cannabis plants seized.

Police revealed yesterday there were 350 plants and the pair were a 24-year-old woman and a 13-year-old boy, both believed to be from Vietnam.

The boy has been charged with the cultivation of cannabis and the woman was due to be questioned yesterday afternoon.

At another property in Pilston Close the owner voluntarily handed over an air pistol, although police said yesterday the weapon did not need a licence.

Police said 15 search warrants were executed on Tuesday with smaller amounts of drugs and
1,000 in cash also seized. To date some 200 Operation Guardian warrants have been executed on 13 separate days since January.
