Hi
Cannabis plants seized by police in Brixham port drugs raid
A CROP of home-grown cannabis plants were netted by Brixham police in a dawn drugs raid in the port yesterday.
Officers took the haul, with a street value of
3,000, from a property in Burton Street where they found up to 12 large cannabis plants growing.
Five police officers from the town took part in the intelligence-led raid, which was part of Operation Fundamental, aimed at stifling the supply of drugs in the Bay.
Brixham's neighbourhood beat manager Dave Thomas said: "This is another good, positive result in the battle against drugs in Brixham.
"We will carry on executing warrants in the town in a bid to stamp out drug dealing and usage in the port."
Officers are seeking a 47-year-old man to help with their inquiries.
